OUR LAWYERS
Don Ferguson
Don is a lifelong resident of Elgin County. He comes from a long line of farmers and manages to balance a busy law practice with cash-crop farming. A fixture in Elgin County, Don has a well-established clientele of professionals and business owners. He strives to do the very best for his clients regardless if they are seeking advice on their very first home purchase or restructuring a large corporation.
Don obtained his law degree from the University of Windsor in 1993. Prior to attending law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University. He is a member of the Elgin Law Association.
Don lives in St. Thomas with his wife. When he is not practising law or farming, Don enjoys the game of golf as well as thoroughbred breeding and racing. In that capacity, Don is a Steward of the Jockey Club of Canada.

“Don Ferguson and his team helped us close on our first home. They all went above and beyond to make it as stress free as possible. Whenever issues came up they were quick to inform us and provide us with more information as well as solutions to go forward. I would highly recommend Mr. Ferguson and his team.”

Sandra DiMeo
Sandra has spent her entire legal career fighting for the rights of injured people, and representing individuals and businesses in employment matters and civil disputes. She understands that the majority of her clients have never been involved in litigation before and are anxious about the circumstances in which they find themselves. Sandra is understanding and compassionate while also being a fierce opponent to insurance companies. She understands that the litigation process is stressful and she strives to ensure that her clients have the information they need to make informed decisions. Sandra regularly represents families that have lost a loved one in a fatal accident.
In employment matters, Sandra recognizes that negotiated resolutions are often the best course of action – whether it is an employer making a decision to end the relationship, or an employee who is entitled to an enhanced termination package.
Sandra is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Elgin Law Association and Middlesex Law Association. She regularly attends conferences to ensure that she stays on top of the latest developments in the law and has been invited to speak at conferences given her expertise in personal injury and motor vehicle accident law.
Sandra is a proud Western University graduate two times over. She obtained her law degree in 1999 and prior to that, an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

“I contacted Sandra seeking end of employment advice after receiving a referral from a family friend who had used her services previously. I see why she was highly recommended; not only was she was pleasant to deal with and quick to respond, her experience in these matters was obvious right from the start. I’d recommend her services to anyone seeking employment advice. Navigating such an experience with a professional having your back, rather than by yourself, makes a world of difference.”
