Don is a lifelong resident of Elgin County. He comes from a long line of farmers and manages to balance a busy law practice with cash-crop farming. A fixture in Elgin County, Don has a well-established clientele of professionals and business owners. He strives to do the very best for his clients regardless if they are seeking advice on their very first home purchase or restructuring a large corporation.
Don obtained his law degree from the University of Windsor in 1993. Prior to attending law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University. He is a member of the Elgin Law Association.
Outside of the office, Don is very involved in the St. Thomas community. He is the current Chair of the Endowment Fund Committee of the St. Thomas Elgin Public Art Centre and a trustee of Knox Presbyterian Church. Don is a founding trustee and current Chair of the Kettle Creek Environmental Trust Fund. He is also a member of the St. Thomas Chamber of Commerce and served two terms on the board of directors of St. Thomas Energy Inc.
Don lives in St. Thomas with his wife, Maureen, and their three children. His children all competed in competitive sports while growing up in St. Thomas and have left home. His oldest child is a graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax NS, his middle child is a graduate of St. Andrews University in Scotland and currently attends the School of Medicine at the University of Edinburgh and his youngest is currently in business school at the University of Guelph. When he is not practising law or farming, Don enjoys the odd game of golf as well as thoroughbred breeding and racing.

Sandra has spent her entire legal career helping others find solutions to difficult problems. Her law practice is balanced between fighting for the rights of injured people, and representing individuals and businesses in civil disputes. Sandra understands that the majority of her clients have never been involved in litigation before and are anxious about the circumstances in which they find themselves. She strives to ensure that her clients have the information they need to make informed decisions, and minimize the stress that litigation brings.
Sandra is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Elgin Law Association and Middlesex Law Association. She regularly attends conferences to ensure that she stays on top of the latest developments in the law. She is a former instructor of the Civil Procedure section of the Bar Admission Course, a former instructor of the Business Law course at Fanshawe College and a former mentor for Pro Bono Students Canada.
Sandra is a proud Western University graduate two times over. She obtained her law degree in 1999 and prior to that, an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
She is actively involved in the St. Thomas community. Sandra is a past board member of the St. Thomas Elgin Hospital Foundation. She is the former president of Big Brothers Big Sisters St. Thomas-Elgin and former board member of Family and Children’s Services of St. Thomas and Elgin. For a number of years, she was involved with the Brain Injury Association of London and Region and co-lead the Elgin County support group for individuals who have suffered an acquired brain injury, their families and caregivers. She is also a current member of the St. Thomas Chamber of Commerce.
Sandra lives in Port Stanley with her husband, Gene and their two children. She is a self-proclaimed foodie and enjoys spending hours in the kitchen whipping up gourmet dishes.

The offices of Ferguson DiMeo are regular supporters of local community organizations and are well-known for their involvement within the city of St. Thomas and its environs.
Sandra has completed a two year term as president of the STEGH Foundation and has stepped back into the role for the current year. In 2015 she received the Chamber of Commerce Free Enterprise Award of Merit and has also received an Ontario Volunteer Service Award for 5 years with Family and Children’s Services.
Don is the current Chair of the Endowment Fund Committee of the St. Thomas Elgin Public Art Centre and a trustee of Knox Presbyterian Church. He is also a founding trustee and current Chair of the Kettle Creek Environmental Trust Fund.
Sandra and Don continue to be participants in other organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas-Elgin, St. Thomas Elgin Public Art Centre and the North American Railway Hall of Fame.
